LAKE FOREST, Calif., Mar. 13, 2008 -- Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys, today announced that Logitek, an independent Wonderware software distribution partner, has signed a new distributor agreement and will conduct business as Wonderware Spain.
Logitek has represented Wonderware in Spain for more than 20 years providing sophisticated production and performance management solutions. Under the new “STAR+” distributor agreement, Logitek will start a new business unit which will market its organization with the Wonderware brand enabling the company to provide customers improved support for the full range of Wonderware software and bundled hardware/software solutions.
“Logitek has always been focused on the distribution and support of the Wonderware product family and now using the Wonderware name is a natural progression which simplifies and strengthens our local brand positioning,” said Jordi Rey, Wonderware Spain, Managing Director. “Customers prefer the certainty that they are in close association with Wonderware.
They now have a ‘one-stop’ supplier with expanded competencies in Wonderware technologies as well as a team of skilled professionals at their disposal to ensure the successful implementation of automation projects.”
Wonderware Spain will be dedicated to the sale and support of Wonderware industrial automation and information solutions for the region. As an award-winning distributor, Logitek will continue to focus its efforts on developing the Spanish market and providing solutions that will enable businesses to remain competitive in today’s expanding global economy.
